There is no sects in islam

Sunni and Shiah are Muslims as long as they hold the 6 faith pillars and 5 islamic pillars. If in future, there is another group come and claim they are whatever group name, they are still Muslims as long as they hold and practice the same teaching of Islam. Muslims refer and follow Al Quran (words of Allah SWT) and authentic Sunnah (words/actions of prophet Rasullullah SAW during his prophethood) as main guidance of life. In the Quran, Allah SAW has stated to follow prophet Rasullullah SAW as he is the best example of a Muslim. Also, prophet Rasullullah SAW taught us how to take wudhuk, perform prayer, etc. Sunni/Shiah are not sects. Please remember that. Shiah is a group of people who wanted Saidina Ali bin Abi Talib RA (prophet's son in-law and cousin) as Khalifah (leader of country) after the death of Rasullullah SAW but majority vote for Saidina Abu Bakar RA (prophet's father in-law). Because of that these people which at that time minority form a group called Shiah. They fights for Ali RA to be a khalifah and Ali RA became khalifah on the reigns of 4th khalifah. Fact is Ali RA does not initiate/ lead the creation of Shiah group. It was those people's wish alone for wanting a leader from prophet lineage hence divided due to political reason. Islam is a complete religion from Allah, the owner of this world which was delivered through last prophet Rasullullah SAW to the people in this world until the end of time but people are not perfect. No matter what, everyone is encountable for themselves. If you disobey Allah's guidance, you will be punished, if you follow Allah's guidance, you will be rewarded. My favourite RUclips channels are The Muslim Lantern and Sabeel Ahmed. You will get lots of benefits from them.

Brother.. Was the Prophet shia was the Prophet sunni? No, He was a muslim! If you say you follow the Prophet then where does he talks about shia/sunni? There is no Shia/Sunni in Islam. If you really follow the Prophet Muhammad SAW you should call yourself a muslim just like he did, not shia nor sunni. Allah Says: "And hold to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided". (Quran 3:103). So we should not say " I am sunni, he's shia", We should say " I am a Muslim". Jazakhallah Khair.

This is incorrect, you are mixing differences in aqeedah (belief) and differences in fiqh (jurisprudence). The four mathhabs (Maliki, handballi, shafi’i, hanafi) are not different sects of belief
